Eating Out With The Utah Family Members
When we arrived in Utah last week, Joe and I had dinner at our favorite Golden Corral with the kids and Ally and Ryan... How do you like Derek's new 2 year old big boy haircut? Doesn't look like a baby anymore, huh?
When you come to Tifton, don't plan on going to eat at Sonny's anymore..They lost their franchise. Seems as though one of the "big bosses" took offense at the fact that the Sonny's employees here had on T-Shirts with something like " We Support Jesus" slogans on them and there was some sort of religious thingy at the register. The owner was told to get rid of those things or lose his franchise. He told the big guys "where to stick it" and has reopened at the same location, serving the same type of food-just under a different name.
Do they serve all you can eat ribs that taste like Sonny's did? If so, I'll check 'em out. Since we won't be in Tifton very long though this time, I'll bet it'll be Ole Time Country Buffet on Monday evening. Save that date to go with us.
