I Looked Out The Window And What Did I See?

Squirrels and a bunny playing 'round the tree...

Joe's pet rabbit was sitting enjoying the beautiful morning when I spied this squirrel sneaking up on him.

Then Mr. Squirrel got even closer.

Then there was a second squirrel sneaking in until a truck drove by and scared the squirrels away.

Here is the rabbit "hiding" in the grass later on.

Uh oh...I got caught!  Notice Rabbit's right ear how it's scalloped.  That's how we know it's the same rabbit that returns to our yard because of this unique deformity.

Now Rabbit has stretched  out in the warm sun to take a nap.

Apparently Rabbit has spent a lot of time under the tree.  Notice where he's burrowed out his own sleeping spot.

Joe and His New Pet

We were going somewhere the other day and Joe had walked out to sit in the car and was eating an apple.  That's when I noticed the little rabbit in our yard (in the far left hand side of the picture)  We have a rabbit in our yard every spring.  I don't know if it's the same one, but he's really quite tame.

The rabbit turns and sees Joe sitting in the car.

Then Joe saw the rabbit and tries to get close enough to feed it some apple.
