Oh my gosh!!! This was like my favorite singing group when I was about 15 years old. It's the "Monkees"! I was in love with Davy Jones - the one who is on the right. He was so groovy.
They even had their own television show, which was not to be missed by me. I have since seen reruns and realized how absolutely stupid it now appears, but it didn't at the time.
Unfortunately I never got to see them in person. In fact, I don't remember going to concerts at all when I was a teenager - it now seems a little abnormal, but I made up for that later in life.
