Saturday - 1969
Dear Diary We went to Carla and Dexter's wedding today. It was real nice. Mom and Dad went to Mobile after the wedding and we kids stayed for the reception and then I drove us home. I took we kids to the movie later and we saw "Where's Jack?". It was a pretty good movie meaning good! Susan and I had a fist fight tonight and she snagged my thumb and it bled all over my nightgown. Mom and Dad won't get home till late tonight or early morn. 10:00

Who the heck is Carla and Dexter? If the pretty good movie really mean "good!", why didn't I just say so? I wonder what was the reason for a fist fight with Susan. Must have been pretty good. And, who cares what time I went to bed?
