It was a tiring Christmas for Joe this year as evidenced by this picture. The dialysis has made his metabolism change which has caused him to feel cold a majority of the time. He's also been wearing a beard and moustache for several weeks as it's become very difficult for him to shave. His hands shake often and we're afraid that if he nicks himself it could cause bleeding problems because of all the blood thinners he has recently taken.I personally like that nice soft beard on him. He's been compared to Sean Connery or Ernest Hemingway and looks quite distinguished.
