At the Chris LeDoux park dedication, it seemed that all male persons were wearing a belt buckle. I don't mean those little wimpy things that come on your belts you buy at Walmart. Some of these belt buckles were so large that if the guy bent over, I'm quite sure he would cut his stomach in half.
The buckles are worn with pride. These pictures show some of the buckles won as prizes in rodeos throughout the years.
And, they seem to start with even the youngest little cowboys...
Life is a book. Each day is a new page. May your book be a best seller with adventures to tell, lessons to learn and tales of good deeds to remember.

I Can See Clearly Now...
Joe and I recently went to Rapid City, South Dakota to see an eye specialist. It was about a 4 1/2 drive from our home, but was a great ride.
When meeting the doctor, it was decided that there was a type of surgery - cold laser - that could benefit Joe's eyes and they surgery was performed with great success.

Love the hat on this kid...
The statue before the unveiling...
Free beer anyone?
And look where it comes from...
Is this guy tall or what?
Joe with friends of ours - Debra and Mike Preston - sitting in the front yard of some of our other friends for a front row seat to all the fun...
Dave (l) was one of our hosts...
Saw lots of pockets with their can of Skoal or Copenhagen chewing tobacco...
Sue who is the wife of Dave and our hostess and one of my coworkers...
Joe hugging on his doctor - Stephanie...

Lining up for free food. They fed the whole town and all the visitors!
Several television stations were in attendance including CMT...(Garth Brooks and Tricia Yearwood were there, but left due to a sick child. I didn't see them though).
That's the Wyoming governor winking and smiling at me as he passed by me. Hello, Dave!
The life-sized statue unveiled...
Joe checking out the statue...
