Making Aunt Rachel Proud?
While in Georgia, one of the last places Joe and I went to visit was Aunt Rachel's house. While visiting her, the subject of her Peach Cobbler came up. That was after we'd talked about her world-famous chicken and dumplings. I asked her how she makes her peach cobbler and she commenced to tell me she just did somehow...a little of this and a little of that. Some how I did manage to get a "recipe" from her and made it for dinner the other night. I felt it could be the perfect dessert to a wonderful dinner (if it turned out right). And it did! It even looked good enough to eat!
The menu: baked seasoned ribs, lumpy mashed potatoes, corn AND peach cobbler.
