All week long I've been meaning to share a quote from our Relief Society lesson from last week. The lesson was about service - the doing and the receiving of it. I thought it was quite appropriate for me individually since Joe and I had been the recipient of so many services in the weeks we've been there i.e., snow shoveling, phone calls, home visits, lending of emergency monies, acts of kindness like digging out my snow stuck car, free services such as repairing a windblown car door for free, etc., etc., etc.
The quote that really stuck out in my mind was this...
"You cannot do a kindness too soon for you never know when it will be too late".
Isn't that a great one?!
