1,200+ Miles

'Tis the continuing adventures of the Weavers, commonly known as Joe and Carol. Last weekend was the longest trip we've made thus far since our drive from Georgia to Wyoming. The map shown above doesn't show the entire trip. If you notice the city named Rawlins in the top right corner, that is two hours south of Casper. We stayed on I-80 for only 26 miles and exited just before Wamsutter.

Our plans were to head south to Craig, Colorado and then make a right hand turn west to Vernal, Utah, through the Ashley National Forest and then to the kids house.

One of the first places we stopped was the town of Craig in Colorado. It was here that we saw a cabin that Butch Cassidy and his gang stayed in several times while hiding from the law. Seems like that guy had a hideout everywhere!
