The "Cowbirds"

So we're riding down the road this afternoon on the way to Mom and Dad's to drop off the furry kids and I notice this along the side of the road. It's a field totally full of cowbirds who are feasting on a newly plowed field of peanuts. They don't care that the combines are right there making all the noise and kicking up all the dust. They want some fresh peanuts no matter what. I happened to have the camera in the car and had to take a picture. I'd never seen so many in one place at the same time.
