Time Flies When You're Having Fun?

A-h-h.  That's me taking a deep breath.  It's the day after Thanksgiving, the house is cleaned, the laundry is done, B.J. the Dog even got a bath and Joe and the dog are now taking a nap.  I'm basically all alone with no obligations or commitments today. This is a first in a very, very long time.

I realized today that it has been almost two months since I've done any blogging.  Lots of things have happened and I've either had no time or ambition to blog.  I've done lots of mental blogging and taken some pictures, but just haven't gotten them in print.  So, here I am and going to try to get back on track which means doing a recap of what I've not written about.

October recap...
  • Joe began going downhill quite quickly medically.  He was having tremendous memory problems such as not remembering how to put on his shoes, put his belt on correctly, he'd get lost in the bedroom coming back from the bathroom, he fell into the bathtub, his blood sugar and blood pressure was starting to elevate; he wasn't sleeping at night, but roaming around the house getting into the refrigerator, he was falling, and so many other strange things.
  • Was working for the RV dealership, but gave my two week notice and quite the first week in October. Things had gotten so stressful for me with Joe's medical problems and trying to learn a new job proved too much for me so I went back to work part-time at the insurance agency.  Needless to say, I was earning less money, but the part-time job gave me the opportunity to recoup and regroup and figure out what to do with Joe while I was at work.
